Become one with the Victory FL high-performance binoculars and experience a unique observational quality.

Here you find the top features of the Victory FL binoculars.

Brilliant FL-concept

The unrivalled brilliance of the natural colours and the outstanding image brightness result from the use of high-performance fluoride glass.

Best visibility both near & far

Whether you are watching animals in the distance or interesting birds at close quarters, the Victory FL binoculars cannot fail to impress with outstanding images.

LotuTec® coating

The LotuTec® coating offers clear visibility whatever the wheater.

Brilliant FL-concept

Make the most of the full richness of colour and brilliance in the world of birds. The outstanding lens construction, using lenses made of high-performance fluoride glass - FL for short - helps you to see the colours with more brilliance and natural authenticity and to observe details such as plumage more clearly. Chromatic aberrations are kept to a minimum. Important details, such as a bird's eyebrow stripe, are shown as nature intended them to be seen, while colours and shapes are clearly defined.

Best visibility both near and far

Search for a songbird in a bush just a few metres away or look into the distance to watch a passing bird of prey. Enjoy outstanding images from the Victory FL binoculars at any distance, near or far. The wide angle field of view makes it easier for you to seek out birds, even at short distances. At long range, the wide angle field of view gives you a wonderful overview; for example of roosting cranes or passing birds of prey.

Robust lightweight

The lightweight design and compact dimensions make the Victory FL binoculars the ideal companion for nature observation and birdwatching. Whether you are birdwatching in the rainforest, in the desert, out on the icecap or in more temperate zones, the high-quality materials used in the construction of these binoculars will withstand even the most extreme conditions. The Victory FL binoculars are waterproof and filled with nitrogen, so that even extreme changes in temperature will not cause them to mist up internally. The rubber armour makes these binoculars extremely robust and shockproof, and provides reliable protection for the delicate optics.

Effortless operation

The easily accessible focussing wheel makes it possible to change your focus in a fraction of a second from a seagull in the distance to a sandpiper on the beach close by. Even with gloves on, the non-slip focussing wheel is easy to operate with its integrated diopter adjustment, which can be locked in the required position. The eyecups can be screwed into your preferred position, so that at all times you can keep the right distance between your eyes and the eyepiece. The eyecups can also be removed completely for cleaning purposes.

Low light capability thanks to Carl Zeiss T* multi-layer coating

You will really notice the difference on dark autumn days or when watching owls in the spring. The unique Carl Zeiss T* multi-layer coating, ensures that plenty of light comes through the lenses in all Carl Zeiss binoculars. This enables you to watch birds with unrivalled clarity and brightness in twilight, dark weather conditions and in the interplay of light and shade found in woodland.

Innovative lens coating

Water simply rolls off the lens as if from a duck's back. This is due to the LotuTec® coating on the lens and eyepiece. The fact that water simply rolls off and no dirt can collect on the surface of the lenses means that you can spend less time cleaning and more time birdwatching.

You can choose between two different Victory FL models.

Increase in performance possible

A cordura pouch, a carrying strap, lens and eyepiece covers and a lens cleaning cloth are included in the scope of delivery of all Victory FL binoculars.
The broad, comfortable neoprene strap is non-slip and very easily adjustable, making the low light 56 mm binoculars easy to carry. Robust rubber covers provide effective protection for the lenses from dust, moisture and scratches. The eyepiece cover is attached to the carrying strap, which means it cannot get lost when it has been taken off. Well thought-out accessories for carrying comfort and protection.

Additional accessories make the Victory FL binoculars even more versatile:

Binofix tripod adapter

Steady observation over long periods at high magnifications. The universal Binofix tripod adapter enables you to fix Carl Zeiss binoculars of 30 mm lens diameter onto conventional video and camera tripods. If you combine the binoculars of the Victory FL or Conquest ranges with the triple magnification of the Mono you can enjoy a visual experience similar to that of a spotting scope.

Mono 3x12 T*

Triple magnification! The Mono booster 3x12 T* allows you to turn your VICTORY HT, Victory FL/RF and Conquest binoculars into a high-performance spotting scope. The small Mono booster can be fastened to the eyepiece by means of an adaptor ring, tripling the magnification of your binoculars. Even without binoculars the Mono 3x12 T* can be used as a magnifying glass for insect observation at close quarters or as a miniature telescope.

Carrying strap with Air Cell comfort

Binoculars are much more comfortable to carry using the Air Cell Comfort carrying strap. Cushions of air sealed within the material spread the weight of the binoculars across the entire neck area, which makes them noticeably much more comfortable to carry. On long observation days and extended hikes the Air Cell Comfort carrying strap offers welcome relief for your neck and shoulders. The carrying strap is suitable for binoculars with a lens diameter of 30 mm or more.

Pfeil

What do the abbreviations mean?

Meaning of the abbreviations

Binoculars or spotting scopes with glasses that contain fluoride (FL) for sharper, higher contrast images with significantly reduced chromatic aberrations; Fluoride Lenses; a special, high-quality sub-category of the ED lenses

GA
Previously used to designate Dialyt binoculars with rubber armour

T*
ZEISS T* Multi-layer coating for extremely high transmission and low reflex susceptibility

MC
ZEISS Multi-layer coating (multi coating)

P / P*
Phase correction coating on the roof prisms, which provide a higher resolution of the finest detail structures. All ZEISS binoculars with roof prisms use this coating

B
Previously used to designate binoculars that can be worn by people who wear glasses.

S
Binoculars with mechanical image stabilisation

ED
Extra low Dispersion = low chromatic aberrations

HD
High Definition. HD is not a type of lens. Instead it describes the result of the ED lenses: very good resolution
